Each season of Fortnite comes with 10 weekly challenges that you can complete to earn Battle Stars that help you unlock the cosmetics of that season's Battle Pass. You can complete the challenges at any time in the season once they have been made active. Once the season ends, the challenges will be removed and you'll no longer be able to complete them.
Each Weekly Challenge gives you a max of 50 Battle Stars and if you complete at least four out of seven challenges, you get 5,000 EXP.
Season 7 Week 2 Challenges
- Search A Chest In Different Named Locations
- Damage Opponents with different types of weapons
- Eliminate opponents in Snobby Shores or Fatal Fields
- Multi Stage - Visit Locations
- Play the Sheet Music on the pianos near Pleasant Park and Lonely Lodge
- Compete in a Dance Off at an abandoned mansion
- Eliminate an opponent from at least 50m away
Search A Chest in different Named Locations
Reward: 5 Battle Stars
To complete this challenge you need to open a chest in 5 different named locations. The named locations are:
- Junk Junction
- Haunted Hills
- Lazy Links
- Risky Reels
- Wailing Woods
- Pleasant Park
- Loot Lake
- Tomato Temple
- Lonely Lodge
- Retail Row
- Dusty Divot
- Tilted Towers
- Snobby Shores
- Shifty Shafts
- Salty Springs
- Polar Peak
- Frosty Flights
- Happy Hamlet
- Fatal Fields
- Lucky Landing
- Paradise Palms
Damage Opponents with different types of weapons
This challenge requires you to damage opponents with different types of weapons. By damage, you just need to land at least one shot on your opponent. There are many different weapons in Fortnite, here are five different types:
- Pistol
- Sub-machine Gun
- Assault Rifle
- Burst Assault Rifle
- Silenced Assualt Rifle
- Heavy Assault Rifle
- Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle
- Hunting Rifle
- Heavy Sniper Rifle
- Tacticle Shotgun
- Heavy Shotgun
- Rocket Launcher
- Grenade Launcher
- Guided Missile Launcher
Eliminate opponents in Snobby Shores or Fatal Fields
Head on out to Snobby Shores or Fatal Fields and get at least 3 eliminations to complete this challenge. If heading for Snobby Shores, aim to land on the roof of one of the three houses to grab a quick chest and hopefully get a good weapon. The instant high-ground of landing on the roofs will help you a lot.
If you're landing in Fatal Fields, there are two separate forests either side of the named location which provide great cover, resources and have a treasure chest inside to get you a quick weapon. From there you can pick off other stragglers.
Multi Stage - Visit Locations
For this challenge, you need to complete multiple stages of visting two named locations in a single match. You must complete the stages in order to unlock the next one. The stages are:
- Stage 1: Visit Snobby Shores and Pleasant Park in a single match
- Stage 2: Visit Lonely Lodge and Dusty Divot in a single match
- Stage 3: Visit Frosty Flights and Tomato Temple in a single match
Solos and Team Rumble are good modes to try and complete this challenge.
Play the Sheet Music on the pianos near Pleasant Park and Lonely Lodge
This challenge requires you to locate two giant playable pianos. One of these pianos is on the mountain near Pleasant Park and the other is near Lonely Lodge. Check out the map below for their location.
Once you get there, you'll need to play the required notes on the piano. The notes can be found on the signboard right in front of the piano (you can't miss it!). Once you play the notes correctly, the Piano will confirm it for you with a little jingle.
Compete in a Dance Off at an abandoned mansion
For this challenge head over to the abandoned mansion near Lonely Lodge. Inside is a dance floor. As soon as you enter, the competition starts. You have to run to the highlighted tiles and use a dance emote. Whilst the tile is highlighted, you'll score points for each second you are dancing on it. Every 5 seconds or so, the tile will change. On the other side, your opponent will have to compete against you. The game ends after 10 rounds and the highest scoring team wins. To complete the challenge, you just have to participate.

Eliminate an opponent from at least 50m away
For this challenge you need to kill a single opponent that is at least 50m away from you. The best way to complete this challenge is to get yourself either a Heavy Sniper Rifle (which usually one-shots when you hit) or a rocket launcher and use it from high above. Team Rumble is a great mode to get this challenge complete. Other good weapons to use:
- Heavy Assault Rifle
- Burst-Assault Weapons
- Hunting Rifle
