Fortnite Season 8 Week 1 Challenges

Here is your complete guide for Fortnite Season 8 Week 1 Challenges.

Each season of Fortnite comes with 10 weekly challenges that you can complete to earn Battle Stars that help you unlock the cosmetics of that season's Battle Pass. You can complete the challenges at any time in the season once they have been made active. Once the season ends, the challenges will be removed and you'll no longer be able to complete them.

Each Weekly Challenge gives you a max of 50 Battle Stars and if you complete at least four out of seven challenges, you get 5,000 EXP.

Season 8 Week 1 Challenges

Visit all Pirate Camps
Search Chests at Retail Row or Junk Junction
Stage 1: Deal damage with a Shotgun and an Explosive Weapon in a single match
Visit a giant face in the desert, the jungle and the snow
Use a Volcano Vent in different matches
Get an elimination with a Shotgum, Assault Rifle, and Explosive Weapon
Deal damage to a vehicle driven by an opponent

Visit all Pirate Campes

For this challenge you to need to visit the newly added Pirate Camps in the Fortnite map. You can find their locations using the map below:

Search Chests at Retail Row or Junk Junction

This challenge requires you to open 7 Chests at either Retail Row or Junk Junction. We recommend playing the Game Mode Team Rumble as it has a high spawn rate for chests and depending on which side of the map you land, you won't get any trouble from other payers.

Stage 1: Deal damage with a Shotgun and an Explosive Weapon in a single match

For this challenge you need to complete 3 stages of eliminating opponents with two different kinds of weapons in a single match. The stages must be completed in order. The following stages are:

Stage 1: Deal damage with a Shotgun and an Explosive Weapon in a single match
Stage 2: Deal damage with a Pistol and an Assault Rifle in a single match
Stage 3: Deal damage with a Sniper Rifle and an Sub-Machine Gun in a single match

Visit a giant face in the desert, the jungle and the snow

Use a volcanic vent in different matches

Season 8 introduces Volcanic Vents to the map, which act as powerful launch pads. Jumping on one will fire you up into the air and allow you to use your glider to travel to another location. You'll need to use a volcanic vent in 5 different matches to complete this challenge

Get an elimination with a Shotgun, Assault Rifle, and Explosive Weapon

This challenge requires you to kill three opponents, one with a Shotgun, one with an Assault Rifle and one with an Explosive Weapon. The kills do not need to come in the same match.

Deal damage to a vehicle driven by an opponent

A lot of vehicles were removed in season 8, so this one might take you a bit of time. You'll need to deal damage to a vehicle driven by an opponent. Currently, the following vehicles are in the game:

Drift Board
Buggy Carts
