The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an RPG that is very popular, even seven years after it's release in 2011. It has an open-world gameplay element that follows the hero in his quest to defeat the dangerous dragon Alduin. Players develop their characters by doing quests and improving skills. There are 3 DLC expansions for Skyrim including Dawnguard, Heathfire and Dragonborn.

Skyrim came out in 2011 and since then it's popularity has been quite steady. It has won numerous awards since it's release, including game of the year from both IGN and GameSpot. The last DLC for the game came out in 2013 but what keeps the game alive are user mods. These "extensions" allow players to customise the game however they like, which usually ends with hilarious results.

Since it was released in 2011, my laptops/computers can run Skyrim failry well since it was optimized for machines in those years. A dedicated graphics card is recommended to run the game well, but check out the minium requirements below:
