Best Monitors For The Sims 4
We all need a break from real life sometimes, which is why it is so great that we have a life simulation game like The Sims 4 and playing it on the best monitors make this game come to life. You could almost think of The Sims 4 as a chance to start over in life, and try all of the career paths and life choices that you did not get to try the first time around.
Monitors for The Sims 4
The Sims 4 is a semi-realistic, fun, and quirky life simulation game. At the start of the game, you create a 'sim', which is the character that you will be playing. The character-creation is very detailed, and could almost be a fun mini-game all on its own. After you finish creating your character, you begin with the actual gameplay, which involves a myriad of choices, the goal of which is to keep your sim alive, healthy, and happy. How your sim lives is up to you. You could be a swinging bachelor throwing parties every night, a nuclear family eating supper promptly at six, or just work like a dog and amass untold wealth. The choices are yours. One area that players tend to focus on is the player-created achievements, the most famous of which is the Legacy Challenge, in which you attempt to build a family that continues on for ten generations. While you are not required to take on any challenges, they do help to make the game more engaging. Either way, The Sims 4 is a sort of secondary life that you can really have fun with.
The Sims 4 was developed by Maxis, which is a division of Electronic Arts. Although the studio was founded by Will Wright and Jeff Braun in 1987, it was purchased by EA tens years later. Originally, Maxis was fairly successful with their hit game, SimCity, but they moved away from the Sim franchise for a while, and the studio declined so much that they began to consider selling to another company, which is what led to the acquisition by Electronic Arts. Other games by Maxis include the original Sims and the other sequels, SimCity, and Spore.
Here's the great thing about The Sims series. They don't release a new addition to the series every year like some games. Instead, they release a great deal of new content for the existing game. The most recent announcement is the upcoming release of The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle Expansion Pack, which revolves around the idea of 'going green' and has a unique take on how your sim impacts the world around them.
If you're looking for an easy-paced game that has a great deal of depth and control, check out The Sims 4.
As television screens are typically larger, you might be tempted to forgo the monitor in favor of the bigger screen. This might work for you, but it also might be a mistake. Keep in mind that many monitors are designed for gaming, and the frame rates on a monitor can be much better than a television. The sims is not a fast paced game, but it is all about the aesthetics, so you may as well use a monitor and get the best possible image.
