November Income Report - 2016
This is my 6th Income Report in which I detail how much money I made online this month.
These reports are designed to show you that it is possible to make money online. I also want to use them to give myself motivation to meet targets, describe new challenges and achievements. Every month I’ll post reports of my google analytics, income stats and more.

November has been a really good month. Not just in terms of seeing increased results, but because I've been able to get a lot of work done too.
Last month I had released a major product in Titan and since then it's seen modest sales of around 2-5 per week. You may not think that's a lot, but that can equate to around $200 per week. I've been getting some great feedback lately and have lots of ideas to improve the product going forward.
My main focus this month was to release an update for my Support Centre product on CodeCanyon. This was the first product I ever created and it's served me well over the last 3 years. I decided instead of releasing a new version as a separate product, I would just add the new version to the existing product.
So far so good! I've seen sales increase for Support Centre and had many of my previous customers who have used Support Centre also say how much they enjoyed the new version. The feedback has been amazing as usual and so I know what I want to improve on next. I hope to get some new updates out for it early next year.
I also managed to release a new update for Titan. This included a new Reports section that allows you to view data on various sections, like Finance, Invoices and Tickets. This is my second update for Titan since release and I still plan to keep it one of my most up-to-date feature -rich products.
I gave a few small updates to Pro Login CMS, fixing a few reported bugs and updating various features. It has been doing really well in sales, almost as good as my Pro Login version, so I'm glad that people have found a use for both products and that neither hurt the other's sales.
At the end of November, I started work on a brand new update for the Documentation Builder. It's not finished yet, but I hope to have it released before Christmas.
Earnings
Source | Earnings | Last Month |
---|---|---|
CodeCanyon | $1,292.00 | +88.68% (+$607.26) |
Freelance | $0.00 | -100.0% (-$220.00) |
Total | $1,292.00 | +42.8% (+$387.26) |
Finally a month where I've increased my earnings on the previous month! And wow! CodeCanyon earnings this month have been amazing. I saw a slight increase on sales last month, but this month has been incredible. I attribute the sales mostly down to Titan, but also strong sales in my Pro Login products.
It's such a great feeling to finally see some real progress. Whether it will last or not, remains to be seen.
No freelancing work this month, however I did get a number of requests to do some big jobs in the range of $1000+. However, doing that work would make me unable to work on my products. It feels strange turning down these types of jobs for sure but I hope my work in products will slowly pay off.
Stats
A increase in visitors this month by quite a few hundred on the last month. I'm going to attribute this down to CodeCanyon results too. I didn't make any new articles this month on blogging, something that I am concerned about. I need to try and get in the habit of writing one or two a month because right now I'm just not finding the motivation. I have the ideas- just not taking the time to write.
Unfortunately, the last 2 days of the month my google analytics was hit by the google spam attack "Secret.google.com You are invited! Enter only with this ticket URL. Copy it. Vote for Trump!". This caused my traffic to spike up loads, and it's already made my December google analytics useless. I'm going to look into seeing how to block it properly.
Timer Stats
My time spent on working this month has dropped quite a bit. A loss of over 20 hours is not acceptable. I think I took it a little too easy this month; I would complete a task and instead of working on the next bit, I would leave it. I still managed to get what I wanted done, which was probably the main issue- not setting myself enough work to do.
Next month I'll be having a couple of weeks vacation too because of the holidays, so this amount will probably drop again.
Plans For December
My main target for December is to release the Documentation Builder update. It's pretty much almost complete as of writing this, I just need to clean it up and get it ready for launch. After that, I'll just work on fixing issues for clients and support up until Christmas. Then I'll begin working on some new products and updates.
I plan to release a new blog post detailing my plan for next year. I did this at the end of last year and I want to compare the results and see what I did actually manage to do.
I'll finally be leaving Paris too and returning to the UK for a month to be with family. After that I'll be staying in the south of France for another short while. Paris has been great- but it's very busy and I have done all I wanted to do here. I've seen some amazing places and done some amazing things, but I am definitely ready to go back home... at least for a bit anyway.
Whether or not you get a Niche Site Case Study update remains to be seen. I should have a lot of free time when I get back to the UK, so I'll try and do something then and figure out a new plan of action.
Hope you all have a great winter holiday, and I'll see you in the New Year!
Proximo
this is inspirational, thanks for sharing this data. I am also publishing on codecanyon and managed 18 sales for my imgur.com clone, it's nothing special but I am already working on my next application that I hope will sell better.
