September Income Report - 2017
This is my 16th Income Report in which I detail how much money I made online this month.
These reports are designed to show you that it is possible to make money online. I also want to use them to give myself motivation to meet targets, describe new challenges and achievements. Every month I'll post reports of my google analytics, income stats and more.

The month of September was mainly focused on getting back to normal. I had a pretty disruptive month last month, so I really just wanted to get back to working solidly.
Did you know it's been over 6 months since my last product launch?
In that time I've mostly been working on updates but for the last 3 or so months I have been working on a new product. The name of it is pending, but it's a Social Media platform that allows you to make your own Social media site.
Current it's about 70% done and it needs a big testing period because a lot of the features I had to research and implement, so the chance for having lots of bugs is quite high. This product has been really hard to get done with the amount of disruptions I've had and will definitely be the last one of the year.
I also managed to hit Elite Author status at the beginning of September. Reaching over $75,000 in sales is a massive achievement for me and it's given me the motivation to keep going and improve my current products.
On the blogging front, my latest articles on Amazon Affiliate Sites are starting to rank in Google and bring in traffic. I've just written an article on freelance php developers, something I've got a lot of experience in doing as it was my main job before I decided to go full time on CodeCanyon.
Overall, CodeCanyon sales have been as stable as they have been in recent months. This month I did really well, so I decided to check the tool I use to keep track of how many sales the products are getting. You can see from the graph that there has been a slight decrease over the course of the year, but mostly stable since July.

This months sales were the highest I've ever had on CodeCanyon. I broke over $3,000 in a single month, which is amazing. It's one of the goals I'm actively trying to reach with this business so to finally hit it feels great. It definitely was a one-off; I haven't updated any of my products or released anything new, so this month must have just been great in converting sales.
No freelancing work this month, so I was able to fully focus on developing for CodeCanyon. I hope to have the product finished by the end of October.
Traffic
A 16% increase in traffic to the blog. Starting to hit over 200 hits a day now which is amazing. I am starting to feel a little tired from blogging but I'm hoping it's just a bit of writer's block. I do a lot of research into keywords and SEO to get my articles ranking so it's not just the writing process that I have to work on.
Time
Whilst I didn't hit the 100 hours I had hoped, I did do better than the previous month. I'm still not at the level I'm happy with though. I should be hitting 100 minimum each month but instead I struggle with it. I do have a bad case of procrastination when working; it's something I need to work on.
Plans For October
For October, my main focus is finishing and getting my new product uploaded to CodeCanyon. It'll probably take until the last day of October to get done because there is a lot still to do. Once it's finished however, it'll be on to updating my products.
My plan is to do updates to all my products next but mostly fix some of the annoying bugs that some users have reported. Once those have been settled I'll begin working on new features that user's have suggested.
I probably won't be doing too much blogging this month. I've started researching some new hobbies and it's sort of taking up a lot of my time at the moment and I haven't found a new topic I want to write about yet.
I may do some maintenance work on the blog instead. It needs some mobile fixes and still has a couple of broken pages that either need removing or redirecting. Since it's move from WordPress the blog has done really well so I feel that was a great success.
