Project Box Helps Hit 100!
The month of July has just ended and it has been an amazing month in terms of sales. We recently launched our fourth product on CodeCanyon acodecanyonb, ProjectBox, and it has helped us break our sales record by double! ProjectBox has been constantly in the top 50 selling PHP Scripts and has sold over 50 copies so far, making it our fastest selling product to date. We first began work on this software in May, so it's great to finally see some results for all that effort. The next step for this product will be updates- lots of them. I hope to try and add lots of useful little additions to it over the coming months and even years to make it one of the best project management systems out there.
For those that don't know, the ProjectBox allows you to create projects and manage them using all sorts of different tools. So far it has a Task Manager, Team Manager, Accounting System, Chat System, Time Logger and lots of other cool content that can help planning projects a lot more easier. The next update will hopefully include a Calendar that will help users plan their project even further ahead.
As for our other products, sales are still doing well. Between the 3 of them, we still sold another 50 licenses and all 3 of them recently got updated with new content and features. Our total sales for August were 102, generating a total of $1,630.80 (And don't forget, that's only at 51% commission rate, so the total revenue was over $3,000). It's amazing to think that when we started this we only had 23 sales a month for one product making $250.00.
The next set of products for us is being planned too. In between updates of our existing ones and new releases, we expect to release 3 more at least by the end of the year, one of them being a WordPress Plugin that we have mentioned before. That is the next product being worked on after we put out a new update for ProjectBox. After that we are going to see how well the plugin does and decide whether we want to develop more products for WordPress or not.
I hope you've found this small blog update interesting, let me know in the comments if you'd like more ones like this or not since I can never tell whether the information is boring or interesting. To us, it's amazing and exciting, but to your readers it may appear dull.
We are going to put out the final HTML Beginners guide soon and then start a new PHP tutorial series. So check back for those posts soon :)
